About this site

The Center for Topology and Applications Amsterdam (CTA\(^2\)) is an initiative of the Topology-Geometry group at the Mathematics Department of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Our Center promotes and supports research of pure and applied topology and geometry, and in particular applications to Dynamical Systems, Partial Differential equations, Computational Mathematics, Chemistry, Knot Theory and Graph Theory. 

The Center nurtures an inclusive, international scientific network, with a strong drive towards open and collaborative research.

This website collects our research and initiatives, which include seminars, workshops, and scientific output.
